Introducing...
We've got a brand new band in the mix! We're proud to announce that Attitude from Syracuse, NY has joined 1917! We'll be releasing thier debut full-length (CD) entitled We All Go Down Together on May 23rd. For those of you who haven't yet heard Attitude, here are two mp3's that are going to be on the forthcoming LP:

More Than a Mouthful.mp3
This is Personal.mp3

Info about Summer tours, preorders, and more will be announced soon, but we wanted to get these mp3's posted ASAP. In the meantime, add their MySpace page as well: www.myspace.com/attitudehc.

News about the Guns Up! full-length Outlive will be announced very soon, along with some mp3's. For now, check out this interview they did recently: GU! Interview. For the impatient, here's a quick excerpt when asked what the new record sounds like:

"Imagine if Harley Flannigan made an audio recording of himself hate-fucking your sister, and then blasted it over your stereo. It sounds like that."

...and check out all of the Guns Up! merch in the 1917 Webstore.

Ruiner will be touring with Counting the Days and Final Fight (West Coast) this summer. These dates will be posted as they become available.

OUTLIVE!
Alllright. So Guns Up! has finished recording their LP, which will be titled "Outlive" and should be available in April (we'll let you know when the date is confirmed). From the band:

"So we're officially done tracking with Jim Siegel at the Outpost in Stoughton, MA, and moving on to the mixing process this weekend. I can honestly say that I more excited about this record than anything we've created so far, both in terms of song quality and in terms of recording quality. This record is more dynamic - it's heavier, it's faster, and believe it or not, it's more melodic. 10 new songs and one oldy-done-justice. We're calling this thing /Outlive/. Tell your friends..."

As soon as this the record is mastered we'll post some mp3's for you to download. For those of you waiting for new merch, we'll have some new Guns Up! hoods, longsleeves, and shirts up on here next week.

From December 27-January 29 Ruiner is hitting the road with Final Fight and for a portion of the tour, Eaten Alive. Click here for dates & maps!

Eaten Alive preorders will be shipping out on 12/19, so make sure to get your orders in ASAP if you planned on doing so! You can find those in the 1917 Webstore here!

Donnybrook has posted the following on their website:

"There have been a lot of rumors swirling around Donnybrook lately, so I'm here to clear things up for everyone.

The rumors about Bo leaving the band are true. This was a shock to all of us, and as a result we had to cancel a few dates to regroup and get things together. We're sorry to those that came out and missed seeing us. We'll be back in Long Beach and Bakersfield soon. At this time, we have no plans to replace Bo and will tour and record with just Dre on vocals. As for the rumor that we're breaking up, this is not true, and we're resuming the tour with 100 Demons and Cast Aside immediately. We hope to see you guys at the shows!

    New Music!
What's up! It's been a while since we've updated, but with good reason. On Monday (5/17), we'll have pre-orders up for the Donnybrook!/Piece by Piece split 7" titled "There Goes the Neighborhood", as well as the Donnybrook! EP on vinyl. The Piece by Piece and Donnybrook! tracks are unreal, and this 7" will serve as a showcase for two great bands from LA. If you're not on the bandwagon already, you will be after this.

On the Life or Death front, the CD has been finished and mixed, and will be going back to the east coast for mastering in early June. We'll be firming up a late-July, early-August street date soon. For those of you who can't wait, check out an mp3 of one of the songs here.

    See you guys Monday...

    Back to Work
After about 6 months of existence, and having the opportunity to reflect on exactly what has gone on in that time frame, I must say that not only am I extremely happy with the progress of the label, an ecstatic about what the future holds. We couldn't have asked for a better band to work with for a first release than DONNYBROOK, nor could we be any more excited for a release than we are for the upcoming Life or Death EP. In addition to Life or Death, we're very happy with what will be our third release...something we think all of you will be excited about as well. We should be able to make an announcement regarding this soon, so stay tuned...
